God is the Light

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”

-Genesis 1:3-4

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  God we know that you are our light, because light is good.  We thank you for being our light.  You are our light, and our salvation.  In you is the fountain of life, and in your light, we shall see light.  You send your light, and your truth.  You delivered our souls from darkness to walk in your light.  We are blessed because we know your joyful sound, and we walk in the light of your countenance.  Your light is sown for the righteous, and the light of the righteous rejoice.  You are the Lord, and you have showed us your light.  Your light is sweet.  We will not call light darkness, and darkness light, for that is evil.  For if we do evil, we hate the light (John 3:20), and we have not come to the light.  But, if we do the truth, we have come to the light (John 3:21).  You are the light of the world, and because we believe in you, we will not abide in darkness.  Thank you for being our light of the world, where you’re always shining bright!

Fellowship with Jesus

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

-Philippians 3:10-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Lord, we want to have fellowship with you.  For if we don’t have fellowship, we will not know you, your character, and your ways.  For we want to know you, the power of your resurrection, and have the fellowship of your sufferings.  We want you to call us friend, because we spend time with you. We know that you are faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.  We will not fellowship with evil, because that is not good company.  For we know that YOU would not have fellowship with devils.  We know that righteousness and unrighteousness cannot fellowship together, because you don’t want us unequally yoked.  We will make our fellowship in the gospel.  If we have fellowship with you, we are walking in the light.  Lord, we will have fellowship with you!

Walking With Jesus

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us…”

-Ephesians 5:2-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. We want to walk with you, like Enoch and Noah. We will arise, and walk in the land, and the length of it, and breathe of it. We will walk in your law and ordinances, and keep them in our hearts. We will walk in your ways.  We will walk after you Lord. We will walk amongst your anointed.  We walk in your truth, Lord.  We will not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, but we will walk upright.  When we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will not fear any evil, because you are walking with us.  We will walk in the light, and not darkness.  We will walk wisely. We shall walk and not faint.  We will walk in the newness of life (spirit), and not after the flesh. We will walk in the spirit. Lord, we will walk in love, because Christ loved us.  We will walk worthy of you, unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of you, God.
