"Purpose, Plan, Will"

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”

-Ecclesiastes 3:1-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven, and we believe that. Lord we often struggle in our lives to know our purpose.  We often struggle in our lives to know and to follow your will. We are often confused to when we don’t know the plans you have for us.  Sometimes we think our plans that we have established for ourselves without consulting with you is the purpose and will of God for our lives.  If we don’t consult with you for our plans for our lives we may not be in your will.  Help us today to know our purpose, so that we will/can follow your will, and so that our plans will be aligned with you.  Please show us why we exist, and what you have created us to do in your presence.  Help us today to understand that anything that keeps us away from you is not your will and we are not walking in our God given purpose when we’re out of your will.  By us being in your will, you are getting the glory.  Lord we desire to follow your will and succeed in our plans in you.  We cannot succeed with our plans without you.  As we draw closer in a relationship with you, we will know our purpose, and follow your will, and our plans will succeed in you Lord.

Your Word Lord

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

-Hebrew 4:12-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lord, we know that in the beginning was the word, and the word was with you, and the word is you.  You are the word.  Lord, we thank you for your word(s), the rhema and the logos.  We trust and believe in your word (the Bible), and listen to your word(s). We know that your word will go forth out of your mouth, it will not return void, but it shall accomplish that which you please, and it shall prosper the thing to where you sent it.  Lord your way is perfect, and your word is tried. Only your word is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edge sword. Your word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path.  We will hide your word in our hearts, and we will not sin against it.  We will obey your word (Bible/God’s voice).  We will submit to your word (Bible/God’s voice) everyday.  Lord we are committed to your word (Bible).  We delight, rest, and will be faithful to your word.

Hearing and Listening

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”

-John 10:27-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We have had a challenging time hearing and listening to your voice.  We have not taken the moment out of our busy schedules to hear and listen to what you have to say.  Because we have not taken anytime from our busy schedules to spend time with you, and hear and listen to you, we have become frustrated with the challenges and chaos we deal with daily.  God please forgive us, because you have told us in your word that your sheep hear your voice, and you know them, and they follow you.  We are your sheep, and we want to hear your voice.  The day we hear (listen) your voice, we don’t want our hearts to be hardened.  You often hear our cry, when we’re in trouble, and you listen to our pleas.  So today Lord, we will stop to hear your voice, and listen to your guidance and direction, and obey you.  We will give attention to your voice, and stop and wait to hear what you have to say to us.  We will not rush through the time we spend with you, and not clearly hear you.  But today Lord, we hear you. Speak for your servants are listening.

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lead us in thy truth, and teach us. Your light and truth leads us.  For your paths are mercy and truth. You will send your truth. For your, loving kindness is before our eyes, and we walk in your truth.  For your, word is right, and all of your works are done in truth.  For your loving kindness and truth preserves us.  You desire truth, in our most inwards parts.  Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Truth reached unto the clouds.  Your truth shall be our shield and buckler.  Your truth will endureth all generations.  We have chosen the way of truth, and your commandments are truth. We will call on you in truth.  Our mouths shall speak truth.  We will bind mercy and truth around our necks.   You are the way, the TRUTH, and the life, and NO MAN comes to the Father, but through you.  Lead us in thy truth, and teach us.
