Our Father, who art in Heaven

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lord we know that we are in living perilous times, and this is the last and evil day, and we want to be ready for spiritual warfare with your help. We will be strong in you, and in the power of your might. 

Demons and demonic forces are real, and we need to be guarded at all times.  For, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  We will put on the whole armour, so that we will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil:

The devil has many strategies that will try to destroy us, but we know that we (Christians) have the victory.  You have given us the power to resist the devil, and if we resist him, he will flee. Therefore, God we will stand having our loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness: You will judge the world in righteousness (Psalm 9:8).

Our feet will be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: We know that we will be able to take on the devil with the word of God.  We will take the shield of faith, and we will be able to quench all the fiery dots of the wicked: We will trust you God at all times, and you will help us in this evil day.  We will take the helmet of salvation (We know that you have saved us) and the sword of the Spirit (spoken or written word of God), which is the word of God.

Listening to God

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”

-John 10:27-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We have had a challenging time hearing and listening to your voice.  We have not taken the moment out of our busy schedules to hear and listen to what you have to say.  Because we have not taken anytime from our busy schedules to spend time with you, and hear and listen to you, we have become frustrated with the challenges and chaos we deal with daily.  God please forgive us, because you have told us in your word that your sheep hear your voice, and you know them, and they follow you.  We are your sheep, and we want to hear your voice.  The day we hear (listen) your voice, we don’t want our hearts to be hardened.  You often hear our cry, when we’re in trouble, and you listen to our pleas.  So today Lord, we will stop to hear your voice, and listen to your guidance and direction, and obey you.  We will give attention to your voice, and stop and wait to hear what you have to say to us.  We will not rush through the time we spend with you, and not clearly hear you.  But today Lord, we hear you. Speak for your servants are listening.

Our Father, who art in Heaven

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We are blessed, because you are the only true and living God.  We are blessed, because you are the Creator of the Heavens and the earth.  We are blessed because we walk in your ways, and not in the counsel of the ungodly.  We are blessed because we put our trust in you.  We are blessed because our transgressions are forgiven, and our sins are covered (through Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins).  We are blessed because you are our LORD. We are blessed, and we shall inherit the earth.  We are blessed because we consider the poor, and you will deliver us in our times of trouble.  We are blessed because we dwell in you (Lord).  We are blessed because we dwell in your house (tabernacle).  We are blessed because our strength is in you.  We are blessed because we know the joyful sound.   We are blessed because you chasten us.  We are blessed because we keep judgment, and try to do righteousness at all times.  We are blessed because we fear you.  We are blessed because we keep your testimonies, and seek you with our whole heart.  We are blessed because we hear you.  We are blessed because our hope is in you.  We are blessed because we are your people, and we will only serve you.  WE ARE BLESSED!

CHANGING

"And if He change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy."

                 -Lev. 27:33-

          Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us of our sins. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  The world is changing, but you never change.  We know that you are always the same, Jesus.  Today, we want to ask you to help us change for the better.  We look to you for a change, whether it's in our personal lives, on our jobs, in our homes, through our finances, Lord just a change.  We experience things in our lives that sometimes causes us to change for the worse.  The situation may not change, but help us to change in the situation.  Lord we thank you for the changes in our lives.  We ask you to change our minds to be like you, and not of this world.  We ask you to change our hearts to be in love with you more.  We ask you to change our ways to only please you.  We ask you to change our world view to be a biblical world view.  Not only when you bring and give us the change, we will accept the change from you, Jesus.  "A wonderful CHANGE has come over us."
