God is the Light

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”

-Genesis 1:3-4

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  God we know that you are our light, because light is good.  We thank you for being our light.  You are our light, and our salvation.  In you is the fountain of life, and in your light, we shall see light.  You send your light, and your truth.  You delivered our souls from darkness to walk in your light.  We are blessed because we know your joyful sound, and we walk in the light of your countenance.  Your light is sown for the righteous, and the light of the righteous rejoice.  You are the Lord, and you have showed us your light.  Your light is sweet.  We will not call light darkness, and darkness light, for that is evil.  For if we do evil, we hate the light (John 3:20), and we have not come to the light.  But, if we do the truth, we have come to the light (John 3:21).  You are the light of the world, and because we believe in you, we will not abide in darkness.  Thank you for being our light of the world, where you’re always shining bright!

Faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

-Hebrews 11:1-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.  By faith we offer ourselves unto you God   By faith and salvation we will have eternal life with you. Without faith it is impossible to please you: for he that cometh to you must believe that you are, and that you are a rewarder of them that diligently seek you.   By faith we are warned of things not seen as yet, and not moved with fear.   By faith we will trust you when you call us to go out into a place not knowing, but we are willing and obedient.  By faith we will receive strength from you.  By faith, we will be made whole.  By faith, our sins can be forgiven. By faith in you, you will open up our blind eyes to see spiritually.  By faith we will trust you through every challenge and circumstance.  We will have faith in you.

Healing from Our Afflictions

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

-Psalm 34:19-

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lord, remember us, and all of our afflictions (pain and suffering).  We have interceded for people and their healings, but today we need a healing and a miracle from you.  You are Jehova- Rapha, you are the Lord who heals. We have internal and external afflictions, and we want/need your divine healing.  Some of us have gone to doctors, and have received a negative report, but if we place our affliction in your hands, we can receive a positive report, if it’s in your will.  We know that you have the power to heal all manner of sickness and diseases.  We know that if we have faith in you, we can be made whole.  We are reaching out to you in the midst of our afflictions.  We know that many are the afflictions of the righteous; but you deliver us out of them all.  We may have to go through surgical procedures, but we can be healed.  We know that if we cry from the depths of our soul to reach out to you, we can be healed.  Lord, you will heal our soul.   If our hearts are broken, you heal us, and you bind our wounds.  You told us in Ecclesiastes (3:3), that there is a time for us to healed, for you are the Lord, that heals thee (us).   We understand that afflictions are not just physical pains, but it is also internal pains (emotions).  Lord HEAL our emotions.  You told us with your stripes (bruises), we are healed.  You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we thank you for the healing (internal/external).  There is no other name, god (idols), or power that will heal, except by the name and power of you, Jesus.

“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding”

-Verse 3-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. We will know wisdom and instruction; and perceive the words of understanding; We will receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; We give subtilty to the simple. We will hear, and will increase learning; and with our understanding we shall attain unto wise counsels.  The fear of you, Lord is the beginning of knowledge: and we will not despise wisdom and instruction. Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:  We shall call upon you, and you will answer.  We shall seek you early, and shall find you.  For we love knowledge, and choose to fear (reverence) you: We will hearken unto you, and shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
