The Lord's Prayer

“After this manner therefore pray ye…”
-Matt. 6:9-

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.

Our Father which art in heaven: You are the true and living God. Hallowed be thy name: We reverence your name. It is holy and sacred.  Thy kingdom come: Your reign is great through and in this world. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven: It is your will God, and not our will.  Give us this day our daily bread: You provide for our needs daily, and we don’t have to worry.
And forgive us our debts: We have moral and spiritual debts to your righteousness.  You, God, forgive us for our sins.  As we forgive our debtors: We seek forgiveness in the same manner, as we forgive others.   And lead us not into temptation:  Continue to help us daily in our daily battle with the temptation of sin.  But deliver us from evil: If we resist the devil, he will flee.  For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever: It’s all about you Jesus.

Amen.

The Holy Ghost

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

-John 14:26-

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. For, there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  Lord, if we do not have the Holy Ghost, please fill us with the Holy Ghost.  Lord, some of us need a refilling of the Holy Ghost, fill us again with the Holy Ghost. We will receive power, after the Holy Ghost has come upon us.  We need the Holy Ghost, as we serve you in this world.  We want the Holy Ghost to lead and guide us, and teach us all things, and bring all things to our remembrance, in whatsoever you have said.  Through the Holy Ghost, things are revealed, and we are kept from many dangers because of the Holy Ghost. We know Lord (Jesus), that you were conceived by the Holy Ghost.  We will not blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, because we know that we will not be forgiven (Matt. 12:31).  We are baptized with the Holy Ghost, and we can speak in unknown tongues, as the Spirit gives us utterance.   We will not resist the Holy Ghost.   We will have joy in the Holy Ghost.   The Holy Ghost will dwell in us. We will build ourselves up on our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.  We thank you for the Comforter, the Holy Ghost.

God, You Are...

“And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord:”

-Exodus 6:2-

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  God, you are true, living, and the everlasting King.  You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  You are holy and righteous.  You are the rock, and your ways are perfect.  You are truth, and without iniquity.  You are a jealous God. You (God) hate all sin, and all sin is unrighteous.  You are a God of knowledge, and by you, actions are weighed.  You are omnipotent, you’re all powerful.  You are omniscient, you’re all-knowing.  You omnipresent, you’re everywhere.  You are our strong tower.  You are our refuge and strength, and a very present help in the times of our troubles.  You are our joy, because in your presence it is full.  You are our peace, when the storms of our lives are raging.  You are hope, when darkness seems to dim the light.  You are our money, because you stretch it beyond our means.  You are our healer, because you can heal every affliction.  You are our song, when we sing praises to you.  You are our wisdom, and we can ask you for understanding.  You are our teacher, and we are your students.  You are everything to us.  You are the Lord!

Labourers for Christ

“For we are labourers together with God:”
-1st Corinthians 3:9-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We consider ourselves labourers for you (Christ).  We are labourers together with you (God).  We are praying to you the Lord of the harvest that you will continue to send forth more labourers, because your harvest is plenty, but your labourers are few.  We know that the labour of the righteous tend to life, and if we are gathered by labouring, there shall be increase.  In laboring there is a profit, and our hearts can rejoice in our labouring for you.  We want our soul to rejoice in the good of our labour for you.   As we are working for you, we desire that our labour be in knowledge, wisdom, and equity.  We don’t want our labour to be in vain.  We are labourers together with you, God.
