Not our Power, but God's POWER

“Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.”
-Job 37:23-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Lord we know that your power is given in Heaven and in earth.  We ask for your power because we are weakened vessels.  You give us power when we are faint, and our strength is increased.  We excel in your strength because of your power.  Your power is excellent, and there is no GREATER power than you.  You have redeemed our souls from the power of the grave (situations).  We are girded by your power, and it rules forever.  Because of your power, our sins are forgiven.  The earth was made by your power.  We ask that you will continue to allow your power to dwell in us.  You give us power to cast out unclean spirits in your name Jesus, even within ourselves.  We have power over the enemy. Lord we want the power of you to rest upon us.  Jesus, you were crucified through weakness, but you lived by the power of God.  We your people want to be strong in you, and in the power of your might.  Lord we WANT your power.

Evangelizing for the Gospel of Jesus Christ

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

-Matt. 28:19-20-

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lord, we have a strong desire to share your gospel to the world.  We want the world to know who you are, and that you are the only true and living God.  We ask that you will equip us with your armor to go out into the world in love sharing your mighty truth.  God we are your mighty witnesses going into the uttermost parts of the earth sharing the gospel.  The world needs to hear about you!  For you loved the world, and you gave your only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in him will not perish, but will have everlasting life.  We ask that you will lead us to the proper trainings and teachings to allow us to effectively evangelize your gospel, not hindering a lost soul to turn away from you, but to come to you, with the heart desire to be saved.  We will be loving witnesses telling the world about Christ!  We will not be ashamed of the gospel, but we will proclaim the gospel!

God is Our Salvation

“He is become my salvation
-Exodus 15:2-

Our Father, who art in Heaven

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Lord, you are our salvation, and we rejoice in your salvation.  We wait for you, our salvation.  You are the rock of our salvation.  We will not fear, but we will stand, and see the salvation of you.  We will not neglect you, as the great salvation.  You have given us your shield of salvation.  You are the horn of our salvation and the tower of our salvation.  Salvation belongs to you, and you bring forth blessings to your people.  Our soul rejoices in your salvation.  Your salvation shall be exalted.  When we need comfort you will restore to us the joy of your salvation.  We want you to hear us in the truth of your salvation.  Your salvation is nigh to us, if we fear (respect) you.  We will show forth your salvation from day to day.  Your salvation will not tarry.

RESTING IN JESUS

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
-Matt. 11:28-

Our Father, who art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We ask that you will increase in us, as we decrease in ourselves.  If we completely surrender our lives to you, we will find and have rest in you.  The busyness of our lives, at times makes us tired and weary, but you told us to come to you, all of us that labour and are heavy laden, and you will give us rest.  Here we are Lord, coming to you, as humble lowly servants, seeking to have rest in you.  God you give rest unto your people, according to what you have promised.  You told us to rest in you, and wait patiently.  We know in you, we can find rest for our souls.  You give us rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.  We desire to get away from the busyness of our lives to find rest in you.   We need a refreshing in our spirits, and when we rest in you we will have that refreshing in our spirits.  We will rest in you!
