“I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me
from all my fears.”
-Verse 4-
Our Father, which
art in Heaven:
We
ask that you will forgive us for our sins.
Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. We will bless you at all times,
and praises shall continually be in our mouths. Our soul shall
boast in you, and we, the humble, shall hear thereof, and be glad. We magnify you,
and exalt your name together. We sought you, and you heard us, and delivered us
from all our fears. We will taste and see that you are good. We are blessed because we trust in you. If we seek you we shall not lack in any good
thing. We will do good; seek peace, and
pursue it. Your eyes are upon us, the righteous, and your ears are open to our
cry. Your face is against them that do
evil. You are nigh unto us that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of
a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of us, the
righteous: but you deliver us out of them all.
You redeemeth the soul of your servants, and none of us that trust in
you shall be desolate.
