“To know wisdom and
instruction; to perceive the words of understanding”
-Verse 3-
Our Father, which art
in Heaven:
We ask that
you will forgive us for our sins. Create
in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. We will know
wisdom and instruction; and perceive the words of understanding; We will
receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; We give
subtilty to the simple. We will hear, and will increase learning; and with our
understanding we shall attain unto wise counsels. The fear of you, Lord is the beginning of knowledge: and we will not despise
wisdom and instruction. Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the
streets: We shall call upon you, and you
will answer. We shall seek you early,
and shall find you. For we love knowledge, and choose to fear
(reverence) you: We will hearken unto you, and shall dwell safely, and shall be
quiet from fear of evil.
