“Representing
Christ Daily In Our Lives”
“Now then we are
ambassadors for Christ”
-Ephesians. 5:20-
Our Father, which
art in Heaven:
We ask that you will
forgive us for our sins. Create in us a
clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. We want to represent you and your glory God
in how we live. You have called us as a
chosen generation, and a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar
people, in whom you have called out of darkness, and into your marvelous
light. We will show the world that we
are representing you as your, chosen generation, and that we have been called
out of darkness (sin), and into your marvelous light (salvation). Lord, in our language and communication we
will represent who you are. Our language
will not be filthiness, foolish
talking, or jesting, because they are not convenient (Ephesians 5:4). We will represent you in our ways and
character because we will walk in your spirit and not our flesh. For the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness,
and temperance:
We will represent you at our place of our employment, in our
communities, and in our daily affairs. We want the world to see that
your light is in us, and that you are the light of the world. We will not represent
Satan in any part of our lives, but our duty is to represent you to the best of our ability in all that we
do.
Your
Servants
