armour of God…”
-Ephesians 6:11-
Our Father, who art
in Heaven
We
ask that you will forgive us for our sins.
Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Lord we know that we are in living perilous
times, and this is the last and evil day, and we want to be ready for spiritual
warfare with your help. We will be strong in you, and in the power of your might.
Demons and demonic forces are real, and we need
to be guarded at all times. For, we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We will put on the whole armour, so that we will be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil:
The devil has many strategies that will try to
destroy us, but we know that we (Christians) have the victory. You have given us the power to resist the
devil, and if we resist him, he will flee. Therefore,
God we will stand having our loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness: You will judge the world in righteousness
(Psalm 9:8).
Our feet will be
shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: We
know that we will be able to take on the devil with the word of God. We
will take the shield of faith, and we will be able to quench all the fiery dots
of the wicked: We will trust you God at all times, and you will help us in
this evil day. We will take the helmet of salvation (We know that you have saved
us) and the sword of the Spirit (spoken
or written word of God), which is the
word of God.
