Labourers for Christ

 “For we are labourers together with God:”

-1^st Corinthians 3:9-

Our Father, which art in Heaven:

We ask that you will forgive us for our sins.  Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.  We consider ourselves labourers for you (Christ).  We are labourers together with you (God).  We are praying to you the Lord of the harvest that you will continue to send forth more labourers, because your harvest is plenty, but your labourers are few.  We know that the labour of the righteous tend to life, and if we are gathered by labouring, there shall be increase.  In laboring there is a profit, and our hearts can rejoice in our labouring for you.  We want our soul to rejoice in the good of our labour for you.   As we are working for you, we desire that our labour be in knowledge, wisdom, and equity.  We don’t want our labour to be in vain.  We are labourers together with you, God.
